Privacy policy

1. Introduction

Snatchella ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website snatchella.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors and customers, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you place an order, create an account, or contact us, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Shipping address and billing address
  • Phone number (if you choose to provide it for delivery purposes)
  • Order history and product preferences
  • Any information you include in messages you send us

Payment information. We do not collect or store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank details. Payments are processed directly by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, or other gateways). We receive only limited information such as the last four digits of your card, the card brand, and whether the transaction succeeded.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Referring website
  • Pages viewed, time spent on pages, and links clicked
  • Cookie and pixel identifiers

2.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from advertising and analytics partners, such as whether you clicked one of our ads or interacted with our content on a social platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process, fulfill, and ship your orders
  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications
  • Respond to your questions, requests, and support inquiries
  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds
  • Improve our products, website, and customer experience
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized transactions
  • Measure the performance of our advertising
  • Show you relevant ads on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google
  • Send marketing emails, if you have opted in
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site and to understand how it is used.

Types of cookies we use:

  • Essential cookies — required for the Site to function (shopping cart, checkout, security). These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand which pages are visited and how people navigate the Site.
  • Advertising cookies — allow us and our advertising partners to measure ad performance and show you relevant ads on other platforms.

Advertising and analytics tools currently in use on this Site include:

  • Shopify (platform analytics)
  • Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Facebook and Instagram advertising)

If we add additional advertising or analytics tools in the future — such as TikTok Pixel, Google Analytics, or Google Ads tags — this list will be updated.

Your choices. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through:

  • Meta ad preferences: facebook.com/adpreferences
  • Digital Advertising Alliance: optout.aboutads.info
  • Network Advertising Initiative: optout.networkadvertising.org

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We share information with the following categories of recipients, only as needed to run our business:

Recipient Purpose What is shared
Shopify E-commerce platform, hosting, checkout Order and account information
Payment processors Processing payments Billing details, transaction data
Teemdrop (fulfillment partner) Packing and shipping your order Name, shipping address, order contents
Shipping carriers Delivering your order Name, shipping address, contact info for delivery
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Advertising and measurement Hashed identifiers, browsing and purchase events
Email service providers Order and marketing emails Name, email address

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect our rights or the safety of others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.

Note on advertising: Sharing data with advertising platforms for targeted advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws, even though no money changes hands. You have the right to opt out — see Section 8.

6. Data Retention

We keep order records for as long as necessary to fulfill orders, handle returns and disputes, and comply with tax, accounting, and legal requirements — typically a minimum of seven years for transaction records. Marketing contact information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure for payment handling. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your personal information
  • Obtain a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights

How to exercise your rights. Email us at the address in Section 13 with your request. Please include the email address used for your order so we can locate your records. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days, extendable where permitted).

You may also authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of that authorization.

Marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from promotional emails. You will still receive transactional emails about orders you have placed.

9. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Other U.S. States

If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, the rights in Section 8 apply to you. We do not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration, but our use of advertising pixels may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt out using the methods in Section 4 or by emailing us.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law.

10. Residents of the European Economic Area and United Kingdom

If you are located in the EEA or UK, we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to fulfill your order
  • Legitimate interests — to prevent fraud, improve our Site, and market our products
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and marketing emails
  • Legal obligation — for tax and accounting records

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your data, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
